Boone County’s Jayden Jackson named to Northern Kentucky Coaches Association’s Top 26

Boone County High School announced on December 12 that running back Jayden Jackson has been named to the Northern Kentucky Football Coaches Association’s Top 26.

"Jayden Jackson was a phenomenal player to coach, even if it was only for one season," said Daniel Court, head football coach at Boone County High. "Respected by his peers and teachers alike, Jayden brought an explosive playmaking ability to the field—he could score from anywhere at any time. In just 10 games, Jayden racked up over 1,000 yards, showcasing his incredible skill and determination." Court described Jackson as "an inspiration."

According to the school announcement, the 2024 football statistics that earned Jackson this honor include 908 rushing yards, 196 receiving yards, and an average of 110.4 yards per game over 10 games. He scored a total of 11 touchdowns. In addition to being team captain, Jackson was named Team Most Valuable Player and earned a spot on the Northern Kentucky Football Coaches Association All-Star Team Division II.

Jackson is also making an impact off the field in his community. He serves as a peer tutor for special education students and is dedicated to helping others. Words used to describe his character include "remarkable patience," "loyalty," "kindness," and a "heart of gold." He is also an active member of Future Business Leaders of America, where he demonstrates strong leadership skills.
