A recent heavy snowfall, the largest in several years, prompted members of a local church to take action. Without being asked, they cleared snow from the church campus to ensure safety during this unseasonable weather at the start of 2025. The church leader expressed gratitude, stating, "thank you" to those who contributed.
While walking through the parking lot last week, the church leader noticed what appeared to be a credit card lying in the snow. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a gift card with an intriguing message: "PAID IN FULL." This discovery was captured with a phone camera as a reminder.
The message in the snow serves as a spiritual metaphor. According to Romans 13:11-13, sin is associated with darkness. Spiritually speaking, darkness is linked to sin and its consequences. However, just as dawn inevitably follows nightfall, so too will Christ's return bring light and resolution.
The text found in the snow offers encouragement and reflects on God's promises during times of fasting and spiritual reflection.
