Charles Dee Hollar Jr., 77, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away on January 14, 2025. Born in Georgetown, Kentucky, on September 15, 1947, Hollar was a cherished teacher at Harrison County Schools for over 30 years, specializing in Middle School English. He was an active member of Cynthiana Baptist Church and Trinity Episcopal Church in Covington.

Survived by his mother Ruth Starns Hollar, wife Barbara Hollar, children Gini DiBari (Chris) and Nathan Rowe (Sarah), grandchildren Aidan DiBari, Dominic DiBari, and Liam Rowe, brother and sister-in-law Robert and Shelia Hollar, and niece Payton Hollar, he was preceded in death by his father Charles Dee Hollar Sr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 326 Madison Avenue, Covington, Kentucky 41011, from 9:30-11:00 AM, followed by a celebration of life service. Ashes will be interred at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, Emerald Trace Short Term Rehabilitation, or a charity of choice.
