Pastor Cleddie discusses biblical visitation in new message
Cleddie & Gaynell Keith Senior Pastors | Heritage Fellowship

In a recent address, Pastor Cleddie shared insights on the concept of divine visitation, drawing from biblical scriptures and personal anecdotes. He opened with Hebrews 2:6, contemplating the notion of an infinite God visiting finite human beings. This theme continued with a reference to Matthew 5:6, emphasizing satisfaction for those who seek righteousness.

Pastor Cleddie recounted a personal story about his son Kyle's birth and a poem by their friend Paul Paulson. The narrative illustrated how they conveyed love and chosen identity to Kyle, paralleling spiritual habitation over mere visitation.

A reflection on hospitality in his childhood home introduced Luke 7:15-16, where Jesus revived a widow's son. "Fear seized them all," he noted, highlighting that fear of God often accompanies divine visitations and marks the beginning of wisdom.

Hannah's story from 1 Samuel was used to demonstrate how earnest prayer can lead to divine intervention. Despite her initial despair due to childlessness, "The Lord visited Hannah," fulfilling her prayers and providing Israel with Samuel as a prophetic voice.

Pastor Cleddie concluded by encouraging believers to align their desires with God's will. He quoted Jesus' words, "I do what I see my father doing," urging believers to expect divine encounters or visitations as they enter 2025.

He expressed gratitude for the community's support over the years and looked forward to a year marked by spiritual visits.
