The City of Florence is organizing the Great American Cleanup on Saturday, April 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event aims to enhance community involvement in maintaining the city's cleanliness.
Volunteers are invited to gather at Ewing Blvd at 9:00 a.m. Participants will register and receive cleaning supplies before being transported to designated cleanup locations. A complimentary lunch will be provided at 11:45 a.m.
"This is a fantastic way for individuals, families, schools, and organizations to give back to our city while enjoying a rewarding day outdoors," said an announcement from the city. The event is open to all ages.
Interested participants can sign up through "Great American Clean Up" or by scanning the QR code provided in promotional materials. Additional information can be obtained by emailing Volunteers@florence-ky.gov.
"Let’s keep Florence clean, green, and beautiful!" encourages the city's message to its residents.
