Boone County Sheriff's Department hosts internet safety talk for parents

The Boone County Sheriff's Department is set to host an Electronics and Internet Safety Talk on Wednesday, March 26th. The event will take place at 3000 Conrad Lane, Burlington, KY 41005, beginning at 6:30 pm.

The presentation will feature members from the Criminal Investigations Division, Electronic Crimes Unit, and the Commonwealth Attorney's Office. It is designed for parents and guardians of school-aged children. The focus will be on providing a variety of internet safety tips aimed at keeping children safe while they remain connected online.

Parents are advised that the presentation is specifically tailored for them, so children should not attend.
