Have you ever pondered whether Jesus serves as an embodiment of all that God expects from us? Pastor Cleddie Keith addresses this question in a recent message. He shared a personal experience of waking up with a prayer in mind, expressing a desire to be more like the Lord. Keith recounts a moment when God spoke to him about an ongoing issue he sought to be resolved. He prayed for its removal and God's response was simply, "YOU ASKED FOR IT."

Keith had prayed for God to shape him into what He wanted, and God's reply reminded him of his own request. Pastor Keith acknowledges, "Have you ever asked God to make you what He wants you to become? Yes, I am sure you have, like millions of others. We even sing about it; 'Lord I am willing, do what You must do, to make me like You Lord, make me like You.'"

Pastor Keith explains that it is through surrendering our will that God can work in us, elaborating on how God uses circumstances and people to fashion us into His image. God's chosen instruments for this development might appear destructive, yet they are essential for growth. Keith reflects, "When you asked me to Make you like Jesus," God used those very situations to mold him.

Drawing from a childhood memory, Pastor Keith shared that his older cousins would caution him, saying, "Cleddie, you are asking for it." Now he confidently asks to be like Him throughout life's journey.

"HE IS RISEN INDEED," concludes Pastor Keith, affirming his faith and encouraging others in their walk.

"I believe in you," writes Pastor Cleddie Keith.
