The Florence Family Aquatic Center is preparing to welcome visitors for its 2025 season, starting on Saturday, May 24 at 11:00 a.m. The center promises a summer filled with various events and activities suitable for all ages.
Notable events include Open House Days on June 2 and August 5, offering $5 admission and membership specials. On June 7, the Dive-In Movie Night will feature "Luca." Newport Aquarium Day is scheduled for July 28, where attendees can see live penguins. Weekly prize giveaways will occur every Wednesday in June and July.
A special event titled Christmas in July will take place on July 25, granting free admission to those who donate to GO Pantry.
The center also offers weekly treats: Freezer Pops are available for $.25 every Tuesday, popcorn for $1 every Thursday, and Slush Puppie Days are set for June 23, July 30, and August 8 at $2 each.
Additional attractions throughout the season include Military & First Responder Days, Ice Cream Day, Hot Dog Days, among others. The final splash weekends will be held in August and over Labor Day Weekend.
