Winners announced for Florence's 2025 photo contest landmark category

The City of Florence has announced the winners of its 2025 Community Photo Contest, expressing gratitude to all participants who showcased the essence of Florence through their photography. The contest highlighted the community's people, places, and landscapes.

In the Landmark Category, Patrick Cottingham secured first place with his entry titled "Tower Landscape." Diane E. Baumer took second place with "Florence Watchful Protector," while Kathy Kuhn received third place for her work "Honoring Our Veterans." An honorable mention was awarded to Steve Ellis for "Y’alls BW Color Splash."

City officials commended the unique perspectives and impressive talent demonstrated by all entrants in capturing the spirit of Florence.
