Florence hosts public services night out on May 20

The City of Florence is set to host a Public Services Night Out on May 20, 2025, as part of National Public Works Week. The event is open to the community and will take place at the Florence Mall on Mall Road from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the team responsible for maintaining city operations. The event will feature city trucks and equipment, interactive displays, and free food provided by local businesses. Additionally, there will be an activity for participants to help name a Bucket Truck.

The Public Services Department in Florence handles various essential tasks including streets, stormwater management, fleet services, parks maintenance, and facilities upkeep.
